First and foremost, I live each day as it comes.

And no, my real name is not "Asura". Actually, it's Raven.

I'm an EMT-Paramedic and a graduate of Wake Technical Community College (with an Associate of Applied Science in Emergency Medical Science). My twin also has the same degree from the same class year. I'm a huge advocate of EMS and I truly love it. I was one of the first four three Paramedic Apprentices that worked for Wake County EMS and I'm currently working full-time with them on A-shift.

I think way too much about things that I really shouldn't think much at all about and the spoken word doesn't come easy for me.

Sometimes I can speak really fast because my mind is faster than my tongue. I have a tendency to forget what I'm saying mid-sentence, so I just want to get it out before it goes away.

I consider myself artistic but at the same time realistic. I listen to and love many forms of music. I read and write chronically. I draw when the mood strikes me and I'm addicted to lipgloss and go-kart racing.

I've fallen for the most amazing man that I'm thankful every day for having crossed my path.

Reality is defined by the thin line between selfishness and selflessness. It's a game. How it ends is all in the way you play.
